Alice Louise Long

Alice Louise Long of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at her home November 29, 2020. Born July 19 1945 in Chicago to Martin and Nancy (nee Prins) Sara. Beloved mother of Janet Munoz, Jodi (late John) Broderick, Melissa (Sanjeev) Patel, William (Erika) Long, Sean Long, Dennis Long and Edwin Long; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Jaci, Mansi, Keya, Andrea and Steven (Nicole); caring great grandmother of Josh, Joshua and Logan; and dear sister of the late Martin N. Sara. Alice put up a long, hard fight battling cancer. Her strength and courage showed us all how strong of a woman she was. Alice loved fishing, reading, traveling, playing bingo and most of all attending masses and events at church. She was incredibly talented and creative. She loved to sew, work on stained glass and ceramic projects, along with many other crafts. Alice will be missed by many, but never forgotten and always in our hearts. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services for Alice will be held at a date in the future determined by the family.
