Christo Tousis

Christo Tousis, 68, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family March 27, 2022. Born June 28, 1953 in Nestani Arkadias Greece to the late Konstantinos and Aikaterini Tousis. Beloved husband of Sylvia; loving father of Kathy Tousis; dear brother of George (Soula) Tousis, Maria (Sam) Lizas both of Greece and Peter (Irene) Tousis of Crystal Lake Illinois. Christo is preceded in death by his brother Aristidis Tousis and nephew Konstantinos Tousis. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins from both the United States and Greece. Christo was proud owner of the longstanding family owned Crystal Palace Restaurant in Crystal Lake for many years. He entered into retirement in 2006 and enjoyed spending his time doing many of the things he loved to do and spending time with his family. Christo was also a faithful parishioner of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church of Elgin. A funeral service will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church March 29, 2022 at 10am immediately followed by his interment at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
