Dean Mysliwiec

Dean Mysliwiec, 63 passed away March 31 2023 at his home in Woodstock, Illinois. He fought a long battle with Colon Cancer, he lived life to the fullest even up until his final days by fulfilling his wish of one last guys trip with his life long friends.

Dean was born on June 19,1959 to Edmund and Valerie Mysliwiec. He grew up in Lake Killarney where he met the love of his life, Sheri in kindergarten. The Cary Grove high school prom king and queen were married for 40 years before Sheri passed away in 2020.

Dean custom painted motorcycles and spent many years working in body shops on cars, boats - you name it. He built his family’s home and could fix anything. He was the ultimate girl dad and would do anything for his daughters. Dean always ran into someone he knew no matter where he went, whether that be a swim up bar in Jamaica or a gas station on a road trip. He was incredibly charismatic and was always helping others. He loved riding his Harley, playing hockey, kayaking, family vacations and snowboarding.

He is survived by his daughters Whitney (Jeremy Bauer) Mysliwiec and Deana Mysliwiec; his parents Edmund and Valerie Mysliwiec; his sisters, Debbie and Kim; his mother in law Nancy Israel; numerous other extended family members and dear friends.  He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Sheri; his sister Cindie Streit; and father in law Allen Israel.
