Elroy Krich

Elroy Krich passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022, in Crystal Lake. He was born on April 4, 1932, in Elgin to George and Violet Krich. He married Barbara Kupitz. on February 23, 1952.

He had his own excavating business for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling and restoring old cars. He also enjoyed being in his workshop. He was self-taught in many occupations.

Elroy is survived by his loving wife Barbara; three daughters Kathy (late Al) Hirsch, Cindy Streleheck, Laurie Krich; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Strelcheck, Adam (Julie) Hirsch; great grandchildren, Tristan, Ayden, Ava, Max, and many nieces and nephews; brother Harold (Carol) Krich, sisters Phyllis Margraf, Marianne Sporleder. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Violet; and brothers Don, Marv (Elenore) and Mike (Gloria) Krich, sister Elaine Passfeild, brother-in-law Lawrence Sporleder and Son-in-law Al Hirsch.  Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held at McHenry County Memorial Park at a later date.
