After a 5-year battle with cancer, Gregory M. Kardasz, 57, of Gilberts, IL, went home to his Heavenly Father in peace and surrounded by his loving wife and family, August 18, 2020. Born in Chicago on March 23,1963 to Phillip and Edith Kardasz. Beloved husband of Debbie; loving father of Gregory Jr., Ana, and Steven (Jessica) Cain; grandfather of Ashton Cain; fond brother of Katherine (Joseph) Paterno, the late Michael Kardasz, Lynn Kardasz, and Debra (Mark) Roper; caring uncle of Michael, Elizabeth, Joseph and Jacklyn. Greg was loved by all who knew him. He had a way of speaking that made you feel as if no one else existed, truly demonstrating God's love, power and patience. Greg's life was a testimony of how with God anything is possible. He had a high school education, was a member of the Hell’s Angels in Oakland California, and even had a stay in the San Quentin Prison, but Jesus had other plans. Greg became a faithful member to the Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin and was promoted to Senior Vice President at Alliance Creative Group. In lieu of flowers, memorials and notes of kind words may be made to the Kardasz Family during the time of visitation or here https://gf.me/u/ys7jpp at Greg's Go Fund Me Page. Please join us Monday August 24, 2020 from 6-9pm at Harvest Bible Chapel, 1000 N Randall Road Elgin IL 60123 for a time of visitation to honor Gregory's legacy. An outdoor funeral Service will follow at Harvest Bible Chapel, Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 10:00am. Interment will take place privately immediately following the funeral service at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin.
