James Michael Bohman

James Michael Bohman passed away on September 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 5, 1960 to Margaret and James J. Bohman, Jim was the youngest of five children. He became an electrician and member of IBEW Local 134. Jim married his beloved Terri (Boyer)and together they raised four children, James, Alex, Anthony and Kayla,(Philip Steinberg) who were his pride and joy. Jim enjoyed volunteering for the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association. He was an avid Cubs fan and fisherman. His devout Christian faith nurtured him during his illness, helping him prepare to be with his Lord Jesus. Other survivors include his mother, Margaret Bohman (Roch), sisters Joanne Gurion, (Henry) Nancy Bohman-Maynard, Mary Beth Bohman Obeso, brother Robert Bohman, (Cindy), father-in-law, Phil Boyer, (Lois), mother-in-law Kay Wedell, sister-in-law Tammy Chambers, ( Pat), brother-in-law Tom Boyer, (Kristine) and many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Jims Life will take place on Friday, October 12 at 10am at Life Changers International Church, 2500 Beverly Ave. Hoffman Estates, Ill. 60192. Participants are kindly requested not to come attired all in black. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James M. Bohman Memorial Fund at BMO Harris Bank, 94 N. Kennedy Dr., Carpentersville, Illinois or the Go Fund Me on Facebook in his name.
