Jimmie and “the best catch of his life” Nola Rose, pioneered a very large and fun loving family. His life was never short of pasta Sundays, family parties and fishing. Much of his younger days were consumed with family, race cars, hunting, machine working and fishing. Fishing trophies and mounted game proudly covered the walls of his home for all to see. Later on, he spent many summers in Iowa with his son Jim Jr., enjoying the Mississippi River. If he wasn’t there, he could be found with his fishing buddies on the Fox.
