John Parkhurst Grey

John Parkhurst Grey of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at home December 31, 2024. Born June 13, 1946 in Evanston to the late Lawrence and Verna (nee Parkhurst) Grey. Husband of Laura; loving father of Carol Grey, Jordan (Stacy) Grey, Jennifer (Matt) Campisi, Sarah Grey and Amy Grey; caring grandfather of Timothy and Leah Grey, Emilee and Abigail Campisi and Lilly Greve; fond brother of Thomas (Nancy) Grey, Patricia (Richard) Reynolds, Lawrence Grey Jr. (Mark Fitzpatrick) and William (Kathy) Grey. John is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Grey along with his wife Nancy and brother William Grey.

John was a successful and dedicated employee of United Airlines for 38 years. He loved to sail and was a member of the United Sailing Club for many years. John enjoyed traveling and was an avid lover of history, he was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
