Ken

Kenneth "Ken" Tackett of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family June 30, 2023.  Born in Oak Park IL March 30, 1964 to the late George and Rosemarie Tackett. Married to the love of his life Angelica (Angie) nee Winkowski since August 25, 1984; loving father of Angel (Kenny) Bunce, Nicolina (Joe) Gerdes; proud grandfather of Hunter, Colton, Karter and Everleigh Bunce; fond brother of William and Lawrence; uncle of John Kuznitsky, Jacob Nelson, Kristina (Joe) Borowiak, Nicole (Kenney) Newell.  Kenneth is preceded in death by his brothers George and Daniel.  He also leaves behind his two special Dobermans.

Ken enjoyed a successful career of 35 years as a woodworker in the Woodstock IL area, dedicating the last 11 years of his career to Phoenix Woodworking Corporation.  He was an avid Nascar fan and also followed his favorite sports teams, the Chicago Bears and Cubs.  Above all, Ken cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life.
