On July 2, 2021, Mariana Klodnicki passed away at age 56 with her family by her side. She joins her sister, Clara Ramirez and her parents, Pablo and Zoila Ramirez (Flores) in heaven. She was born on September 10, 1964 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She was the 5th of 6 children, the younger sister of Zoila Ramirez-Robison, (Clara Ramirez) Yonii Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, and the older sister of Rosie Morales. Mariana married husband John H. Klodnicki JR on May 16, 1993, they celebrated 28 wonderful years of marriage together and were blessed with three beautiful children, Johnny (Betzy), Lauren, and Kristina. Some of her proudest years of her life were spent as a stay at home mom caring for her kids. Mariana was the life of the party, everywhere she went, with her contagious laughter and smile that lit up her entire face. She had a great sense of humor and knew how to make everyone around her laugh and smile. She had a big heart, always helping and donating to those in need, even in her last moments, where she was able to gift her two kidneys to two different people. She had a passion for reading, sharing many books with her daughter Lauren and Mother-in-Law, Judi Legittino. One of her favorite hobbies was boating every summer with her husband and family. She loved creating delicious, authentic Mexican recipes for her family and sharing with their friends and neighbors. She felt a deep affection for dogs, having many throughout her lifetime, she always treated them as another member of the family. She spent her last few years working as a paraprofessional for a preschool, touching the lives of many students and their families. She was loved deeply by her family, friends, dogs, and community, and will be missed greatly. Her family and friends will think of her the next time they pour themselves a glass of Chardonnay or when they play the slot machine on their next trip to Vegas. She will always be remembered by her bright red lipstick she wore everyday, even if it was just to answer the door, and by her favorite quote she said every Friday, “It’s F’n Great to Be Alive”. A celebration of Mariana's life and legacy will be held Friday July 9, 2021 from 4:00pm - 9:00pm at Cardinal Funeral Home 7715 US highway 14 (next to Flowerwood Nursery).
