Mary Ann Olin

Mary Ann Olin (nee Giertz) of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully January 6, 2021. Born March 31, 1938 in Chicago to the late John and Mary Giertz formerly of Oak Park Illinois. Beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Linda (John) Walsh and the late William E Olin Jr.; caring grandmother of Lauren (John ) Dominici, John W. Walsh and Nicholas Zawojski; great grandmother of Natalie and Sofia Dominici; fond sister of Kathryn Giertz Nirde, John Giertz, and the late Richard Giertz. Mary retired from Western National Bank in 1991 and she and her husband Bill retired to Paris Tennessee. She lost her devoted husband from cancer in 2008. Her son Billy kept her company and resided with her until his passing in 2017. She enjoyed the company of caregivers from Peace of Mind Services in Paris Tennessee until she moved to the Fountains at Crystal Lake in 2020. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic no service will be held at this time for Mary.
