Melinda Michelle Smith

Melinda Michelle Smith of Round Lake Beach passed away unexpectedly at her home March 9, 2023.  Born September 30, 1982 in Hoffman Estates to the Janice Smith and the late Steven Smith. Loving of  mother of Andrew Zmarzlinski, Samantha Zmarzlinski, Zoe Zmarzlinski, and Robert Pfeiffer; caring sister of Keri (Nicholas) Smith and David (Rachael) Smith; granddaughter of Carol Smith; and fond aunt of Geoffrey Smith and Revan Cardenas.

Melinda loved her four children very much and her pets. She really enjoyed her job at Chili's and relaxing watching corny TV shows. She was a seasoned bargain shopper, loved coupons, and much like her father she was a talented cook. She was a big sister and a loyal friend who will be missed and remembered by many.

Please join us in honor of Melinda for a time of visitation Thursday March 16, 2023 from 4:00 - 9:00pm at Cardinal Funeral Home 7715 US Rte 14 Crystal Lake IL 60012. A time for sharing memories will be held at 7:30pm. Memorials may be made to the family.  Cremation rites to be accorded.
