Melissa Isakson

Melissa Isakson of Crystal Lake passed away suddenly July 16, 2022. Born January 23, 1995 in Park Ridge Illinois. She was a lifelong sports fan (especially the Bears). Melissa loved music, and she always had it playing at a high volume. It was always a surprise when seeing Melissa. She was always changing her hair color! Melissa loved escaping to her grandmother's house up in Wisconsin. There she enjoyed soaking up the sun and spending time by the water. Mint chocolate ice cream was a favorite as was the chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard from Dairy Queen. With extra cookie dough of course. Sushi was a favorite meal, as well as steak. Melissa was survived by her mother Jennifer Dellinger, father Casey Isakson, her step father, her children Elijah Jones, Julianna Arellano, siblings Crystal (Jose) Cortez, Preston (Krystina) Cozzie, Theresa McKernan, along with her nieces and nephews, Jason Cortez, Danny Cortez, Evangelina Cortez, Preston Cozzie Jr., Parker Cozzie, Anthony McKernan, Bensen Matusiak and Rielly Matusiak. A time of visitation to honor Melissa will be held July 23, 2022 at Cardinal Funeral Home 7715 US Rte 14 in Crystal Lake from 3:00pm - 8:00pm.
