Patricia Ann Hook

Patricia Ann Hook (nee Hayman) died peacefully on April 24, 2023 surrounded by family. Pat was born in Findlay, Ohio and was a proud alumnus of Kent State University. A former teacher, Pat was a stickler for proper grammar and retained her ability to solve Wheel of Fortune puzzles before anyone else in the room right up until the end of her life. She met her husband John at Kent State, and they celebrated their 56th anniversary last September. Pat is survived by her husband John, daughters Laurel and Amanda (Peter) Haase, grandchildren Henry, Zella, and Hazel, along with three wonderful sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Pat enjoyed counted cross stitch and knitting and made many life-long friends, especially Marlene, Carol Ann, and Barb. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to The Epilepsy Foundation.
