Patricia Ann Smith

Patricia Ann Smith, of Lake In The Hills, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family July 17, 2024.  Born June 13, 1951 in Harvard IL to the late Gifford and Phyllis Hisel.  Beloved wife of Thomas Smith for 51 years; loving mother of Jennifer (Marc) Labelle; caring grandmother of Ridley and Willow Labelle; fond sister of Jerry (Bernice) Hisel, Del Hisel, Rose Runnells, Candy (Ron) Olsen and Penny (Ken) Kirby.  Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and niece Tammy Hisel.

Patricia was an avid reader, she loved getting lost in a good book and especially loved to read romance novels.  Winters Wisconsin was her favorite place, and of course sitting at the end of the pier with a great book was her ultimate.  She also loved to dance and play country music around the house.  Above all else, Patricia most enjoyed spending time with her family. Her two grandkids were her pride and joy, and spending time with her numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Patricia and Tom celebrated 51 years of marriage together.  She was the one in the family everyone relied on for family history, stories and recipes.  Patricia was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
