Patricia J. Eski

Patricia Jean Eski, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Chicago, IL surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 11, 1936 in East Chicago, IN to Andrew and Lillian (Cyganowski) Tobias.

Pat was a devoted mother raising four daughters in Hammond, IN and she then spent many good years in St. Cloud, FL where she retired from her career with the City of St. Cloud, FL. In all the positions she held she enjoyed having a positive impact on our community and others. For her later retirement years she resided in Texarkana, TX, and for her most recent years she lived with her daughter Marilyn Eski and family in Chicago, IL.

Pat loved spending time with family and dear friends. She is survived by her children – Lori (Eski) Yates of TX, Marilyn Eski of IL, Carolyn (Eski) McHale of CA. Surviving are also 9 grandchildren – Sara Ussleman, Lucas Usselman, Alex Eski, Kyle McHale, Brandon Yates, Chris Yates, Tiffany Yates, Lauren Ayala and Rose Ayala.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former spouse Michael Eski and daughter Barbara Usselman.

A memorial mass will be held, and a celebration of life will be planned in the warmer months.
