Robert Yeoman

Robert Preston Yeoman, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2nd at St. Joseph’s

Hospital in Elgin, Illinois after dealing with a number of health issues over several years.

Robert was born at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois on January 28, 1954, to the late Marjorie

(Morgan) Yeoman and the late Preston Edwin Yeoman and grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

After graduating from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1972, Robert pursued his

passion in media electronics systems, taking classes at William Rainey Harper College and

Northern Illinois University, leading to his FCC certification in Chicago, IL. Robert was

employed with Roscor Corporation and then became self-employed years later.

Robert learned to play various musical instruments, but it was the drums he enjoyed the most.

His favorite season was Christmas.

Robert never married. He is survived by his sister, Ann Penick, of Alexandria, VA.

Robert was received by Cardinal Funeral Home in Crystal Lake, IL 60012. A graveside service

will be held at the McHenry County Memorial Park on Rt. 14 near Woodstock, Illinois. He will

be buried next to both his and Ann’s parents.
