Wayne Britton

Wayne J. Britton of Carpentersville, IL passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones at Sherman Hospital in Elgin on Sunday, December 27. He was born in Harlan, KY. He worked for decades at Precision Twist Drill and Crane Packing companies in Crystal Lake. He also worked for a while at TC Industries in Crystal Lake. Wayne was a loving husband to Mary. He was a father to five children including his son, Jesse (Jane) Britton, and four daughters, the late Sandy Britton, Donna Szewczyk, Debra (Mark) Daraskevich, and Karen Goscinski. He was the grandfather to 10 grandchildren: Jake, Jacquelyn, Kristen, Miles, Emily, Max, Delilah, Mary, Abby, and Josh. The son of the late John (Linda) Britton. He is also survived by his brother, Arnold (Alma). The brother to the late Bob (Corey), Art (Annie), Frank (Pauline), George (Mary) and the late Philip (Martha) and many niece and nephews. He will be greatly missed. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary IL.
